If you are still grinding your teeth in confusion, so as to choose the appropriate course after graduation, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) might have a solution for you.

GGSIPU invites graduate students for its various post graduate programmes. It offers numerous courses which include: regular, weekend & PG Diploma courses.

Candidates can opt for various programmes such as M.Tech. (Engineering Physics), Chemical Engineering, Nano Science &Technology, Food Processing Technology, Computer Science & Engineering and PG Diploma in Radiological Physics. In addition, aspiring students can also apply for weekend programmes like LL.M. (Cyber Law & Cyber Crime), Intellectual & Industrial Property Law, MBA (Disaster Management) and Masters of Journalism & Mass Communication.

MBA (Disaster Management) is a promising programme and will definitely gain an edge in the near future,” said Nalini Ranjan, PRO of GGSIPU.

Apart from this, he also discussed about a new course i.e., PG Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management, introduced this year. “No other university offers this course and we have received a positive response for the same with almost 40-50 applications till now,” Ranjan added.

“As there is plethora of courses presently available, we can take up a specific course to which we can easily relate rather than pursuing the common programmes,” said Deepali Nayyar, senior student of BCA.

There is almost a month left for students to fill in application forms for their choice of professional courses. Since, new courses have been introduced; students have wider range to choose from now.

The total intake of GGSIPU being 21,000, this year 1,80,000 students have applied in different undergraduate and PG programmes. “We offer 124 programmes in total and receive excellent response from candidates every year,” said Ranja.

The last date for submitting the forms for 2012 is in the month of July. Admission forms can be purchased from select Indian Bank branches. For further information, visit GGSIPU’s official website, www.ipu.ac.in or contact admission helpline at 011-25302167-169.
