Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad

It is one of the best business schools in India. It tops the Indian B-school rankings 2007, conducted by 'Business Today'. Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, was established in 1961 as an autonomous body, with the active collaboration of the Government of India, Government of Gujarat and industry. Famous scientist Dr Vikram Sarabhai was one of the persons instrumental in setting up of IIM Ahmedabad.

The institute had initial collaboration with Harvard Business School, which greatly influenced the Institute’s approach to education. With the passage of time, the institute has been emerging as a confluence of the best of Eastern and Western values. IIM Ahmedabad imparts courses in the Management field at Post Graduate level.

Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta

It was established as the first national institute for Post-Graduate studies and Research in Management by the Government of India in November 1961 in collaboration with Alfred P. Sloan School of Management (MIT), the Government of West Bengal, The Ford Foundation and Indian industry. During its initial years, several prominent faculty formed part of its nucleus, including Paul Samuelson, Jagdish Sheth, J. K. Sengupta, among others.

Over the years, IIMC has grown into a mature institution with global reputation, imparting high quality management education. Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur

It is one of the prominent management institutes of India. XLRI Jamshedpur was founded in 1949 by Fr Quinn Enright, in Jamshedpur. Since its inception, Xavier Labor Relations Institute Jamshedpur has set new benchmarks in the field of management education.

XLRI Jamshedpur boasts of being one of the first management institutes in India, to gain international accolade. It has established its campuses at Dubai and Singapore. Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode

Indian Institute of Management, Indore

It was established in 1996 is the 6th in the prestigious IIM family of management schools. Narsee Monjee Institute of Management and Higher Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai

It was established in 1981 by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal Educational Trust. NMIMS commenced its academic activities by starting the Masters Degree Program in Management Studies. Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai 

JBIMS is one of the top management institutes of India. The institute was founded in 1965 by the University of Mumbai (Bombay) in collaboration with the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, with a donation from Jamnalal Bajaj Seva Trust. S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SP JIMR),Mumbai

It is one of the premier business schools of India. The institute is managed by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and was inaugurated in 1981 by the then British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. SPJIMR is not affiliated to any university and is completely self financing and autonomous institution. The institute has gone global and as a result it has established S.P. Jain Center of Management in Dubai and Singapore. The campuses in Dubai and Singapore offer a Global MBA program and a two-year executive MBA program.
